Potted Flower Card

 
Hi Everyone! I thought I would share how my swap card was made. I also wanted you show you another look for some of our previous cards and techniques. Click here to see video. In this case, I would suggest you watch the video first, then come back for the measurements. Materials:

8.5" x 5.5" Whisper WhitWhisper White cardstock 100730 fold in half for card base. Aslo need white scrap to punch 5 flowers from scallop punch 109043
5 1/4" x 4" Certainly Celery 105125 + a 
2" x 4" strip for leaves.
5" x 3 3/4" Cottage Wall designer paper115671 - I used the polka dot sheet from this series
2 3/4" x 2" Barely Banana 102701 pluse scap to punch 1/2" circle 104390 and Word Window 105090
Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set 115370
Flight of the Butterfly stamp set 11564
Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot ribbon 115613 ~ 4 1/2"
Rich Razzleberry classic ink 115658
Barely Banana classic ink 101170
Rich Razzleberry cardstock 115316 scrap. Punch out a Modern Label 116630

Make daisy by using the layered flower technique.I inked the edges using barely banana ink to get a slight yellow tone to my daisies. Let dry. Punch 1/2" circle out of the banana cardstock and adhere to center with a dimentional 104430. See my blog or video to see how to make flowers.
Make 2 leaves using the 2 x 4 Certainly Celery. Fold in half longways to make a 1 x 4 strip. Run through crimper 101618. Cut leaves on fold - see scallop flower video to see in action! Using snail adhesive 104332 attach leaves inside a layer of the daisy.
To make the flower pot, I took a piece of 2 x 2 3/4" barely banana cardstock and scored at 3/4".
 
Make a mark 1/2" on bottom from either end. To show the score line, I marked in red so it would show up.
 
With ruler, draw line from dot to score line on both sides. Trim. This will make your pot sides.
 

Using scissors, trim sides.
 
Fold down the top to see how your pot is shaping up. Use a corner punch to round out bottom of pot lip. 109047
 
 
Ink all edges with Rich Razzelberry and stamp butterfly towards inside pot. Pot done! Now it's all assembly.
Adhere riboon with snail adhesive to polk dot paper about 3/4" from bottom. Adhere polk dot paper on celery cardstock with snail. Layer on card base. Stamp sentiment on banana cardstock, punch out with word window. Layer on rich razzleberry modern label. Adhere under ribbon with dimentional foam dot. Adhere flower pot with snail on card as shown. Using dimentionals, adhere flower.
