Hi Everyone! I admit to being a paper scrap hoarder :) keeping all usable sizes of paper is a must in my little stampin' and paper crafting world! I do limit myself to one gallon size zip look for solid colors!! Big LOL. This was my challenge to myself..to make cards every now and again using just my scraps. No new sheets allowed (with the exception of the card base.)
I took my brown scraps and the designer paper Blueberry Crisp 117392 scraps as my challenge colors.

Teeny Tiny Wishes' for the Happy Birthday
Punch Bunch - 2011 Sale-a-bration choice
How to make: card base 11" x 4 1/4". Fold in half. Cut 2 1/4: off top part of front of card. This will allow us our 'branch' look. The front and inside left of the card are somewhat mirrored images so when the card is open, it continues to look nice as well as covers up the backside of the branch, tree, and owl.
Run 4 strips of 1 1/4" x 4 1/4" through the Big Shot with the Elegant Lines embossing folder. Use the debossed side to face up and add interest to our tree truck and branch. Make the tree trunk with 2 strips. Freehand cut a branch with one. The last glue along the inside left side. The leaves are made using the bird punch's leaf image.
For the inside right. I layered my scraps of Blueberry Crisp and used brown scraps to act as a border transition between the paper changes.
I'm so happy with how this turned out, I'm going to use this card for a swap I joined with some other demos for masculine cards!
Look for other Scrap Attack designs every now and again and
Happy Craftng!~ Dee
