Moon Lake Card with Masking and Reverse Masking Technique W/Video Tutorial

  Moon Lake

 Hi Everyone!

Video tutorial at the end!

Masking is a technique that can really make an impact! Here is card that uses Masking and Reverse Masking to achieve this look with a spotlight effect.

Step 1 - Stamp image on card layer.

Step 2 -With a larger piece of scrap card stock - punch out a circle using the 2-1/2" Circle Punch. Take removable adhesive, Dotto used (Stampin' UP...please bring back!) and cover stamped image.

Step 3 - with Soft Sky Classic Ink Pad and a Stampin' Sponge, sponge around circle and outward towards the edges. Remove mask. With fingers, rub off any temporary adhesive.

Step 4 - With the cardstock with the punched out circle, cover around image, lining up circles. Use Dotto to keep in place. With So Saffron, use Stampin' Sponge to sponge around the inside of the circle. Remove mask and rub off any temporary adhesive.

Wala! Fabulous look!
