March 2016 Designer Paper Dolls Swap Cards

Hi Everyone! I'm so happy to share with you the Designer Paper Dolls' March 2016 swap cards with a Spring theme! Sue (Welcome Sue! she's the newest DPD!), Summer and Davette (cards left to right) all made such AWESOME cards. Let's take a closer look!

Sue Handshoe's Swap Card

Sue used Sheltering Tree and Happy Scenes stamp sets to create this card. So clever to use the smaller tree image from Happy Scenes to give dimension to the landscape! And cute birds getting settled in for the season.

Summer Moser's Swap Card

Summer used Sprinkles of Like stamp set (This year's Ronald McDonald's House charity stamp set. $3 donated by Stampin' UP! for every stamp set sold. Spring showers are needed for flowers to grow...look for the silver lining! Love this card!

Davette Miller's Swap Card

Davette's swap card uses Picture Perfect, Birthday Blossoms and the branch from Joyful Christmas (I think that's the name) a retired stamp set from last Holiday Catalog. The hummingbird is from Picture Perfect, a 2-step stamp set. The bird is actually a 4 step. Davette's tip was to start with #4 the beak, then 1-3. The stamps are numbered! Such a very pretty spring card!

Stamping the inside is optional. It can help tie in the look of the card. But sometimes, it nice just to leave it blank so it can be filled with a longer, personal message. Thanks for sharing your talents girls! Love them all!! If you would like to join us, please consider joining my team, the Designer Paper Dolls! Click here if interested!
