Birthday Blooms Stampin' UP!Hi Everyone! What a FUN team meeting we had yesterday :)! We made a SHAKER CARD with my 2016-2017 Annual Catalog PreOrder goodies, swapped cards using a color pallet as a theme inspiration, looked through the new catalog together AND THEN held a Facebook Meeting for EVERYONE! I'll share the Designer Paper Dolls' (my team) cards tomorrow..they are AWESOME! and the Shaker Card we made later in the week!

Above is my May 2016 Swap Card featuring the stamp set Birthday Blooms. And here's what the inside and the coordinating envelope looks like:

Birthday BloomsI set a theme each month as an idea starter. This month we tried to make cards using this color combination as inspiration!

May Swaps ThemeWe all enjoyed having a color challenge so I probably will do that for the next few months :)

Materials:

Cardbase: Tempting Turquoise Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2
Front Layers: Basic Black Cardstock 5 3/8 x 4 1/8, Whisper White Cardstock 4 x 5-1/4, Basic Black Cardstock 3/4" x 4" embossed with Elegant Dots Embossing Folder, Scrap of Whisper White for sentiment
Inside: Whisper White 4 x 5-1/4
Envelope: Medium Whisper White Envelope

General Instructions: Stamp floral image with StazOn. With an Aquapainter and a light touch as to not over-saturate the paper, add color to images using Blue Colors from the pallet above. Add Clear Wink of Stella to the flowers. With Pool Party Ink, stamp dot images. Add black embossed strip. Stamp sentiment and punch out with Decorative Label Punch. Stamp additional image and Rhinestone Bling. Add to the card front.

Inside and envelope - with Tempting Turquoise, stamp the floral image for a coordinating presentation.
