14 Days of Valentines: Day 5 - Pyramid Pals Valentine's Treat Holders

Pyramid Pals

14daysofval

Hi Everyone! OMGoodness! Pyramid Pals Bundle is soooo stinkin' cute! You can make one box out of a 1/2 sheet of 8-1/2" x 11" cardstock (in other words - 2 per sheet!). If you have ever assembled Curvy Keepsake Thinlit Box, it's the same idea.

Pp3Above is 2 cut outs to form the box. TIP! Stamp any spots or extras prior to assembly. I die cut the ears and nose for this puppy pyramid. Add eyes and mouth using Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. I also add a little glitter using the new Wink of Stella glitter pen!

Kids would LOVE stamping and stuffing treats in these for Valentines' Day. (or any other occasion!) The box isn't big but big enough for a snack size treats.

Pp1

I prefer the Mulitpurpose Glue to Tear & Tape when putting together. On my pig, I used Tear & Tape and the points are hard (for me) to line up and stay. With the glue - you can go all the way to the point.

Add a glitter heart and you're ready to give as a Valentine's treat!

General Instructions: Die cut pyramids. Stamp prior to assembly. Use Liquid Multipurpose Glue to glue bottoms together as well as one side of the box. Tuck in treats and tuck in back side (don't glue unless you don't mind them ripping open for the treats!) Punch at glitter hearts. Die cut noses/ears and attach with Glue Dots and Stampin Dimensionals.

Mrs. Claus Dress Tag & Mini Card

DSCN4833Hi Everyone! The tag and mini card uses a few retired items. Many of you have the Dress-Up Framelits and here's another way to use it.

DSCN4834

I was using up some retired Gumball Green Cardstock - but you can sub with either Garden Green or Wild Wasabi!

Tag: With green cardstock, die cut tag from Apothecary Accents Framelit. Use Endless Wishes stamp set and VersaMark ink to stamp background. With Real Red Cardstock, die cut dress from Dress-up Framelits.

Punch a 1-1/4 Scallop Circle from Whisper White scrap. Cut in half and adhere to dress collar. With 1' Circle punch - punch notch from top of collar to form scoop neckline.

Emboss dress with an embossing folder. (retired snowflake used)

With a 1/8" -1/4" strip of Basic Black - add belt. Scrap Daffodil Delight for buckle.

Mini Card: 3" x 6" Whisper White - fold in half for card base.

2-7/8 " x 2-7/8" green card stock.

With Endless Wishes and VersaMark - stamp background and adhere to card base.

Make dress - same as tag. Option! - only emboss the bottom half for a different look!
