Hi Everyone! Today's project uses (1) sheet of 12x12 Designer Paper. The purse is made by folding the Designer Paper. When opened, you can tuck in Note Cards that coordinate with your Designer Paper. Many thanks to Kris Miller, my demonstrator friend whose clutch she gave me inspired this version!
The Note Card packs come in either Crumb Cake or Whisper White. I love the Crumb Cake Notecards to tie back into the colors in Cane Lane Cane Designer Paper! Here's a video tutorial to help you make one of your own!
Hi Everyone! I finished making the Oh Happy Day All-Inclusive Kit last night. OMGoodness..it's my new favorite kit. It's so bright and cheerful. It makes 20 cards and includes everything you need to make the cards. The only exception is adhesive. I found I needed both Multipurpose Glue and Glue Dots. The kit took me approximately 2 hours to complete. I did it over 2 nights. The first night I did all the stamping then staged each card's embellishments. The second night I assembled the cards.
What is AWESOME is it comes in the really nice box that ready for gift-giving!
Hi Everyone! I'm so happy to announce that teammate Jackie Howell and I have launched a Facebook Group that celebrates Memory Keeping! It can be hard to get started OR stay motivated...and that's where we can help!
Jackie is AWESOME at journaling her family's life. I want to be just like her when I grow up! And she will show us her approach to using Project Life by Stampin' UP! and Memory Keeping.
I do this too! Although I admit, Jackie's children are much cuter than my husband and his fishing buddies LOL We both will be showing pages we create in hopes that you see how easy and affordable this kind of memory keeping can be!
The Holidays are fast approaching..really they are here! as next week is Thanksgiving. Have you played with the White Gift Boxes yet? They are giftable yumminess! A roomy 3x3 box with a clear, acetate sleeve. So good on so many levels!
Here I made Christmas Countdown for the 12 days of Christmas. Treats or small gifts fit easily inside! Fun countdown for your family or co-workers! Here's a Start to Finish Video Tutorial. The basic instructions run the first 5 minutes, then stay for the complete decorating instructions!
TIP! you can decorate these gift boxes ahead of time and store flat until ready to gift...love that!
Hi Everyone! Here's another card from my local October Card Class. The stamp set Christmas Magic was used. The stamp set has a vintage feel.
I've recently started to try Whisper White Thick Cardstock in my projects. While the slick, high end feel of traditional Whisper White will probably always be my favorite, I do like having all the cardstock have the same feel.
Crumb Cake Cardstock: 4-1/4 x 11 and scrap for die cutting scallop oval Read Red Cardstock: 4 x 5-1/4 and scrap for die cutting scallop oval Whisper White Thick Cardstock: 4 x 5-1/4 and scrap for die cutting oval
With Softly Falling Embossing Folder, emboss Real Red Cardstock. Add to Crumb Cake card base.
Stamp snowman image on Whisper White Oval. Using Real Red and Crumb Cake Markers, color gloves, nose, scarf and berries. With Stampin' Sponge, ink around edges and underneath snowman using a combination of Crumb Cake and Soft Suede inks.
Layer oval and scallop oval layers. Add to card front with dimensionals.
Stamp bell and sentiment on Whisper White. Color bell and ink around the edges. Add to inside of card.
Hi Everyone! Here's a gift card or money holder using the Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle. It also uses Candy Lane Christmas Designer Paper. Candy Lane Christmas is part of a Buy 3 get 1 FREE Stampin' UP! Special this month. My local stampers are making these as part of class this week!
AND you can get FOUR (4) gift cards out of 1 sheet of 8-1/2 x 11 cardstock.
Instructions for making the gift card holder: 5-1/4" x 4" Real Red Cardstock
Along the 5-1/4" side, score at 1/2" & 2-7/8". Along the 4" side, score at 1/2"
Trim out corners as shown
With 1/2" circle punch, punch out 1/2 circle at the top so the gift card or tag can partially be seen. To do this, punch one panel first. Fold over other panel and line up punch with 1/2 circle already punched out and punch the second panel. It's difficult to punch 2 layers of cardstock at a time. Add 2-1/4 " x 3-1/4" Designer Paper to front and back panels. Again, line up punch with already punched section and punch again. Repeat with 2nd panel.
With Fast Fuse Adhesive, close and adhere tabs.
It's ready for a gift card! or you can make a 2-1/4 x 4 Whisper White insert. Add ribbon pull tab.
For gift card embellishments.
Tie Candy Lane Baker's Twine around holder.
Stamp Santa with Archival Black ink on Whisper White and Stamp the Reindeer with Early Espresso Ink on Crumb Cake. Color then punch. Add glitter and pom pom nose.
Hi Everyone! Swirly Squiggles Thinlits Die was top of my list when the 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Catalog came out. BUT I hadn't dreamed of the other shapes we are all creating. This card will be used in my local card class next week. They can sub out the sentiment but I wanted to show an "adult" Halloween card option!
How good is the PUMPKIN PIE GLIMMER Paper for Fall? So good! Great for Halloween and Fall bling on our cards and projects. PLUS image if your school colors had orange in it...Awesome!
The leaves are from last month's promotion Thoughtful Branches. Stampin' UP! still has some bundles available but now they are while supplies last.
General Instructions: Using the Big Shot Precision Plate - die cut the pumpkin from Swirly Squiggles and the leaf from Thoughtful Branches. Stamp images from Thoughtful Branches and sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes. Using Gold Wink of Stella - spatter gold flecks.
Hi Everyone! Todays card was inspired by some funky pumpkins I got over the weekend. I love the crazy looking ones. So I thought why not make a funky pumpkin out of the Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper out of the Holiday Catalog! Below is this card in mass production mode! It will be used in an upcoming swap. What's great is that it doesn't take a lot of paper and it was fun to mix and match the patterns within the Designer Paper to put together all kinds of funky pumpkins!.
I can't officially call it punch art because I used the Layering Oval Framelits. So I guess it's die cut art! Ink around the edges to make each section pop.
General Instructions - Die cut the ovals. Ink around the edges with a sponge dauber and Cajun Craze Classic Ink. Glue ovals together. Free hand cut stem and vine. Glue in the back. Run Very Vanilla Cardstock through the Big Shot using Pretty Paisley Embossing Folder. Ink raised images. Stamp and punch sentiment. Add Gold Thread and Linen Tread behind.
Materials: Rich Razzelberry Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 Very Vanilla Cardstock 4 x 5-1/4 Scraps of Cajun Craze and Mint Macroon Cardstock
