Hi Everyone! I needed to take the weekend off from posting re: craftroom disaster recovery! As tempted as I was to let myself get distracted, I had to try to tackle the beast. lol I had 2 trays of scraps, ideas started and stopped half way...you get the picture. I sorted my scraps (see my posting of organizing with ziplocks) and decided to use them as inspiration of this little guy.
Cardbase of whisper white 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Hair, face and body all 1" x 1". Basic black, old olive, Wicked Fun paper
Arms and legs from Word Window punch. Old Olive and Basic Black
3" x 2 1/2" Pumpkin Pie
3 1/4" x 2 3/4" Whisper White
3 1/2" x 3" Rich Razzleberry
To make our little Frankenstein:
Cut black square about in half. With scissors, cut hair
Cut black word window in half to make legs.
Adhere old olive arms in center of pumpkin pie. Adhere legs directly under arms. (butt up against) Adhere body over legs and arms.
Adhere hair on old olive face. Round corners at bottom optional. Draw face. Adhere on body.
Layer pumpkin pie, whisper white and rich razzleberry. Adhere on base.
Take 1/8" black taffeta ribbon and adhere on base. Stamp Happy Halloween from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set with basic black. Punch with Word Window and layer on Pumpkin Pie punched with Modern Label.
Happy Crafting! ~Dee

Hi Everyone! I used my Watercolor Pencils 101879 and Aqua Painters 103954 to color in my Greeting Card Kid (119887 wood mount & 120633 clear mount). I admit to still be a novice in water coloring. But as the saying goes, " in order to create a masterpiece you have to master the pieces." :) So jump in there with me and give it a try. It's not hard and who doesn't like to color? lol I punched out the image with 118874 XLarge Scallop Circle. Other materials used:
Whisper White card stock 100730 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored in half for card base
Pumpkin Pie 105117 card stock 5 1/4" x 4"
Using the Top Note Die 113463 - use Basic Black 121045 and Old Olive 100702 - cut each image in half. Combine to make one complete image.
Stamp sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes 115370 on Old Olive from Basic Black ink 101179.
Punch out with Word Window 119857
Punch out 2 Modern Label 119849 images with Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black cardstock. Use half of each and combine for one label. Layer sentiment on top.
Happy Crafting! ~ Dee
Hi Everyone! Below is a video tutorial on how to make the Fan Fold Flower embellishment. Happy Crafting!~Dee
Hi Everyone! This continues with the vintage theme inspired by the Holiday Mini! I'll be posting a video soon on how to make this card with the paper flower. It's super easy. This card would most likely have to be hand delivered. If mailed, I would use a bubble envelope and note it will need extra postage.
Materials: , Crumb Cake card stock, Deck the Hall DP 120810, Cherry Cobbler card stock and ink and Antique Brads. Happy Crafting! Dee
