Top Note Bunny Bag

Hi Everyone! Here's our Top Note Bunny used with a bag. So cute for a little Easter basket or gift. For the bunny's backside, I used the large oval punch for the back of this feet and the largest flower from the Boho Blossomes 119858 punch for the tail. P1050557  I have to share that I prefer using a small white bag. You can find the white bags in baking supply areas. I thought I had some! but they were lunch bag size. Fooey!

But wouldn't these be adorable at your Easter dinner table to welcome each young guest?! Enjoy & Happy Crafting!~ Dee

Rag Flower Pin & Luggage Tags - Flower Die

P1050533Hi Everyone! The Big Shot's dies can be used for more than papercrafting! Here I used the Flower Bigz Die 114534 for my rag flower pin and the luggage tags below. The material for the flower pin is from the Springtime Vintage Designer Fabric 121817in the current mini p 16. My blue button is fromm the Holiday Mini  - I had a few left and wanted to put them to good use! But the Navy button shown would work and is from the 122301 Big Designer Button Springtime Vintage collection. p. 16 too. How to make:
Cut 2 flower images using the designer fabric.P1050536
Cut 1 flower image using batting
Sew all three pieced down the center of the petal.
Attach button using Linen Thread 104199
Rag cut by cutting along outside of petal towards the sew line.
Throw in a lingerie bag and wash and dry. Slightly press with iron if need be.

You don't have to rag cut the flower, I just like the worn look.

Ready to put pin on back and wear on jacket or sweater!

P1050538 And here is a TOTALLY different craft project...luggage tage! Still using the flower die, punch out foam images. I found a pack of 6x9 assorted color foam sheets at Walmart. A friend had given me some left over premade felt flowers and I glued them to the center. Floral Fusion 115969 or Island Floral 118871 would be great subs. I have Island Floral and will use that next time. I went to the local DoIt Best hardward store and bought the chain and connectors. Very inexpensive to do it this way! An old pair of scissors cut through the chain. And I punch the hole with my Crop-a-dile 108362. These make great luggage tags for easy identification or for book bags ,etc...
I hope you enjoyed seeing other uses for our Big Shot dies and Happy Crafting! ~Dee

Bear Hugs Mini Cards

Hi Everyone! Here's a cute little set of mini cards  to have on hand for baby gifts. I think they would make a perfect shower gift to give the mom-to-be for thank you notes. Bear Hugs stamp set 116966 is used and is an optional Sale-a-bration item. See back of the SAB catalog for Main Idea Catty stamps. Just remember to use the SAB item number when choosing! Bear Hugs SAB #123895

All four minis are made using just a half sheet of 12"x12" Whisper White cardstock. Take a piece of 6"x12" whisper white card stock and cut making 4 (four) 6" x 3"

To make:
Stamp bear image four times on scrap whisper white. Color using Stampin' Markers in Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, and Certainly Celery. I used the bright yellow from my Stampin' Pastels. My yellow in the kit is a fond farewell, but Daffodil Delight is a great sub. Trim image to a 1 3/4" square. Layer with coordinating 2" x 2" cardstock. With the 2-way Glue Pen, add adhesive and sprinkle with Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Shown are two glitter options. Two cards are made with the glitter on the body and another two the white sections were glittered. I think my preference is glittering the body.

You could stop there, but you know me! :) I love to emboss so run the front of the mini cards through the Big Shot using Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder.

Add image using dimentional foam dots.

P1050524 Stamp sentiment inside.

Here are two other versions. Besides coloring the entire image, you can use the embossing folder slightly different.

To the right, I stamped, colored and then embossed the embellishment vs the card base. P1050528
And here (sorry the pic is slightly out of focus), I ran the entire card front through using the Square Lattice embossing folder. (no dimentional).

Thanks everyone and Happy Crafting!~ Dee

For card on right:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Pretty IP card stock.
5 1/4" x 4" Lap of Luxury DP
