Super Size Your Envelopes with Stampin' UP!'s Envelope Punch Board

DSCN5350Hi Everyone! Don't you love getting those Super Sized cards? Me too! and I bet your friends and family would love one as well. We can Super Size our envelopes using the Envelope Punch Board. I have a video tutorial below to show you the simple trick or tip to make the extra large ones!

If you use a Super Size Envelope of course you'll need a super sized card!

General dimensions:
Card base: 12" x 8-1/8" card stock
Envelope: start with a 11-1/2" x 11-1/2" Designer PaperOptional Belly Band: 12" x 1-1/2" plus a connecting piece of about a 2x2

DSCN5336My Super Size card and envelope are ready for Father's Day. My dad is a farmer and I thought he would like this Hardwood feel to his card. I used the new Bohemian Designer Series Paper and the coordinating  Bohemian Cardstock Pack.

Father's Day card instructions:

Layering elements:
Bermuda Bay 8-1/4 x 5 -3/4
Delightful Dijon (3) 5x 2-1/2

With Hardwood stamp, stamp background in Early Espresso on the card stock layers.

With the Woodgrain embossing folder, ink side with Blackberry Bliss and insert a 4x6 Very Vanilla piece. HAND PRESS the embossing folder (do not run through Big Shot) to ink the paper with the pattern. Using Little Letters Thinlit Dies, die cut letters.

I had a retired pack of larger brad for the hardware. Sub with Mini Silver Brads or Candy Dots.

Belly Band: Deco Labels Framelits for the connector.

And I just HAD to make one using my favorite DP from the Occasion's Catalog and it's on sale this week! Painted Blooms. Here's how these Super Sized envelopes compare to a standard Whisper White Envelope.

Best Thoughts - Sneak Peek Hostess Set

Best ThoughtsHi Everyone! I've been playing with my 2015-2016 Annual Catalog Sneak Peeks...woo hoo! The 2 cards in the post are made using Best Thoughts 138700 Hostess Set available June 2. The new name for Hostess Dollars is Stampin' Rewards - the same as when you order online. So this is one the exclusive choices when your personal order or party reaches $150.00 ( unfortunately or fortunately for me, depending on how you look at it -giggle,  that never is hard for me to reach on my wish list!)

Don't you love how the butterfly image is made to look like it's landing or in flight?!

Best Thoughts.2I used the Watercolor Paper 122959 with the Aqua Painters 103954. The card above uses NEW 2015-2017 In Colors of Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron, and Delightful Dijon.

And here, the cards uses repeating images for a different look.

Best Thoughts 3TIP on this card! Use 2 different color tones to create depth of color. For example on the butterfly, Lost Lagoon and Soft Sky was used.

Take care my stampin' friends!

Build a Bouquet Stamp Set Card Set

Build a BouquetHi Everyone! To say I've been MIA is an understatement! I cannot believe it's been almost a month since I've posted. Here's my local card class cards we'll be making this week, saying goodbye to some retiring stampin' products.

Build a Bouquet 137166 Photopolymer Stamp Set is a bigger set which to me, is really like 2 sets in 1. It has some awesome background images plus the artistic florals.

Build a bouquet May class2
May class3
As you can see, I used the 'flower' image as a burst background! The stamp set is designed to work with Build a Bouquet Kit. So if you like to make paper flowers, the kit is for you OR all the stamp set elements to your other paper flowers.

Take care my stampin' friends!
