Explosion Box with Side Heart Accents - Wedding Box

Hi Everyone! Falling in Love product suite in the 2017 Occasions Catalog is pure romance! Here I've designed an explosion box but with a twist...heart side accents! The video tutorial is below. The first part is the basic construction. They stay for a play by play on adding the accents!

Box Bottom:

·         12x12 cardstock. Score at 4” & 8”. Turn a quarter turn to left and score at 4” & 8”. This will make 9 scored squares.

·         Make a diagonal score in each of the corner squares.

·         With the largest heart from Sweet & Sassy Framelits, die cut a template with scrap cardstock.

·         With heart template, trace heart in the corners, centering over the diagonal score and trim around. Make sure to STOP trimming when you reach side score line.

·         Add inside and outside layers and decorations.

 

Box Bottom Inside Layers:

·         (5) 3-3/4” x 3-3/4” card stock

·         (4) 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” designer paper

·         (4) one size down heart shape die cut from card stock

 

 

Box Bottom Outside Layers

·         (4) 3-3/4” x 3-3/4” card stock

·         (4) 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” designer paper

·         (4) So In Love Thinlit die cuts. Trim bottom section.

Lid:

·         7-1/8” x 7-1/8”. Score at 1-1/2” all for sides.

·         Cut flaps to make lid. Slightly trim flaps to make fit better.

·         So in Love Thinlit die cut

·         3-3/4” x 3-3/4” cardstock

·         3-1/2” x 3-1/2” designer paper

Cool Treats Swap Shares

Hi Everyone! Today I thought I'd share a few SWAP cards I received from other demonstrators. Unfortunately, the swap above did not have a name included. Put I love the play of using Very Vanilla Cardstock as a base. It works even though Whisper White is the color in the Designer Paper.

This card was designed by Monica Giberti. Love how this card showcases the cone swirl stamp that when used, makes the cone look like a tasty treat! A dash of Clear Wink of Stella adds some sparkle!

 

 And holy schma oly! This card is layered up as high as the ice cream cone on top! Stacey Lane is the designer and I love the layers!

This weekend I will have a One-Sheet Wonder made with this suite! It will be a FREE online class with any January order.

Cool Treats Suite Theme Week

Beautiful You Card with Water Color Gown with Masking Technique

Hi Everyone! OMGoodness! This card design is TOTALLY CASE'd from Tandra Boyer...Thank you Tandra for your wonderful idea! I spied her project on a Demonstrator Only Facebook group and we all went ga-ga! Here's a link to Tandra's Facebook Page where you can see her project first hand!

I was going to stamp a sentiment from the Beautiful you set  - so many good ones. But couldn't bring myself to cover up any part of her gown!

Measurements:
Shimmery White Cardstock 4" x 5-1/4:
Basic Black Cardstock 4-1/8" x 5-3/8"
Brights Collection Cardstock 4-1/4" x 11" Cardbase

General Instructions.

• With scotch tape - tape off bottom section of image at her waist. Ink image with Archival Black Ink.
• TAKE OFF TAPE and stamp unto Shimmery White Cardstock.
• With Water Color Pencil - make squiggles down from her waist.
• With AquaPainter - water color skirt.
• Color her top section and watercolor
• Allow to dry.
• Layer with Basic Black card stock and adhere to card base.
• Add more glitz with Clear Wink of Stell

Sending Love Suite Theme Week - Love Note Cards

Hi Everyone! I had to share a love note during our Sending Love Suite Theme Week! These were our Make N Takes at OnStage last fall. OnStage is for all demonstrators to gather to network, swap and see sneak peeks of upcoming catalogs and products! In fact, a few teammates and I are getting ready to register for the NEXT OnStage in April!

The card bases are made from a 3" x 6" Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack. The paper in the stack is 6x6 so 1/2 sheet. Take a 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" Whisper White to layer.

For the next love note - I wanted you to see how I put the bows on - with a glue dot! Makes attaching them a breeze!

Sending Love Suite Theme Week - Love Dove Cello Treat Bag

 

Hi Everyone! Today's Sending Love theme uses the Sealed with Love bundle to create a heart tag with probably the tiniest love note I'll ever use tucked inside. The die cuts and scores the square envelope but when turned, you can make a heart envelope! I love having Stampin' UP! cellophane bags of all sizes on how so I can make a quick treat or package.

 

General Instructions: Die cut envelope with Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper. Stamp Love image and die cut note. Bring ends together to form heart and attach with glue dot. With 1/8" Handheld Circle punch, punch hole at top of heart. Insert 5 Dove candies into a 2" Cello Bag. Tie bag with Melon Mambo Thick Bakers Twine. Add heart tag. Sending Love Suite Week: Valentine's Pull-Out Treat Holder

 

Hi Everyone! Here's a Valentine's Treat Holder that is interactive. When you pull up on the ribbon, it also pulls up the treat inside! The fun pack of M & M's were used. The paper is from the upcoming Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack available January 4th.

You can also use this design to include a note...it's no calorie that way! Video uploading this am and will be posted here soon! UPDATE - See tutorial below!

 

 Materials:

4" x 6" Designer Paper scored along the 6" side at 1/2"
14" Ribbon
10" Thick Baker's Twine

General Instructions:
Fold the 1/2" score inward to form tab. Apply Tear & Tape adhesive. Apply Tear & Tape along the bottom. Bring 4" sides together first, then join the bottom sides to form pocket. Punch 1/4" hole using a standard hole punch towards the top the holder. Thread ribbon. Insert Fun Size candy. Use Thick Bakers Twine to tie ribbon ends together. Decorate front of treat holder.
