Glitter Queens' Blog Hop - Glow Stick Holder and Notecard
10/05/2017
Hi Everyone! Welcome to the Glitter Queens' Blog Hop - Formally First Fridays Blog Hop. Our theme this month is...of course!.. Halloween! And I have 2 quick and cute projects for you!
First is a treat holder or in this case, Glow Sticks! holder. The holder is CASEd from a swap from Stamp-A-Palooza last month. I'm not sure who swapped it but it's cute! Hers held a full size Snickers candy bar. I wanted to show it with something other than candy. I'll be giving these to my great-nephews whose mamma is VERY picky on how much sweets they eat. So this is an alternative to a sweet.
Measurements:
Basic Black Cardstock: 4 1/4 x 8-1/2. Score along 8-1/2 side at 4 1/2, 5-1/2, 7, & 8
Spooky Night Designer Paper: 4 x 5-1/4 & 4 x 1-1/4
On the picture above - you would adhere the 4 x 1-1/4 Designer Paper on THE OPPOSITE side.
How to make: Adhere Designer Paper. Add Tear & Tape to the 1/2 tab and make box element.
Decorate your holder with images from the Spooky Cat Photopolymer Bundle. I made a mask for the cats by placing Rhinestones then using Wink of Stella around the eyes!
My second project is a cute and quick note card you can use for Halloween!
How to make: 3x6 Whisper White folded to make a 3 x 3 note card. With Watercolor Wash background stamp using Basic Gray ink, stamp background. With sponge dauber and Pumpkin Pie ink - make circles. Punch out a 2-1/2" circle in Daffodil Delight - ink around with Pumpkin Pie ink. Punch out cat image in Basic Black - add moon and cat to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
